Nuove webcam alla ribalta, doc e sfighette.

Finalmente ha fatto un pò di fresco e son giunte alcune pioggie tanto attese. Non sono state abbondanti quanto ci si aspettava, ma forse ciò è stato un bene perchè si son evitate le inondazioni che non erano una possibilità tanto remota, vista la secchezza del terreno e l'accumulo di detriti dopo tanta siccità.

I tentativi di cross...quelli per il triangolo da 190km accennati nel post precedente, non sono andati a buon fine. Il primo giorno la condizione era spettacolare, ma solo sul Lijak e da Gemona in su... l'area di Tolmin era un disastro di turbolenza e vento da est.... chi era in gara ha preso delle sberle colossali e qualcuno ha anche rinunciato al volo.
Ma il Lijak era speciale. 2600 liscio, cumuli, visibilità splendida.... me lo son goduto.

Il giorno dopo invece ho subito una sequenza di sfighe che solo a ripensarci ora fanno sorridere....
quantomeno ho imparato che se superi il limite di velocità di 5kmh (e non 10kmh come pensavo io....) prendi 150 € di multa :(((

..ed io che pensavo di aver passato indenne il giorno precedente...che era venerdì 17!!! :D
...vabbè...teoricamente così di sfighe ne ho scaricate un bel pò in un sol colpo invece di diluirle...

Di uscite positive invece ce ne sono state. Voli a "caccia" di grifoni con l'obiettivo....da solo, con Igriza, con Lucio ed il Takoo2, a terra alla riserva...

ho aggiornato alcune webcam dell'alpe adria. Molto ma molto interessanti:

• una nuova prospettiva sul mt. Quarnan a Gemona
• la telecamera in tempo reale sull'atterraggio di Tolmin e puntata verso ovest
• la telecamera di Iggy, direttamente dalla pizzeria in atterraggio Lijak, puntata sul decollo basso
• ed infine, una webcam a Capodistria che punta ad est e permette di vedere la situazione nell'area di Buzet

Finally the weather changed a bit and we had a stormy day. It was not so strong as predicted but rained enaugh and today the air is fresher.

In the past days, as I said in the previous post, I tried the 190km triangle from Lijak.

The first day was great to fly but was impossible to jump in Tolmin area or in the flats through Cividale because there was like a stream coming from north east that separated Lijak area from the Gemona one.

In tolmin my friends were flying a task of the Kobala Open and they told me it was really strong and turbulent.

Someone did not like the situation and landed as soon as possible.

But on Lijak was a joy. Cloudbases @ 2600, clear air, nice cu's, smooth and wide thermals....

The day after it should have been "the day to do it"....

but a series of unlucky events persecuted my day :(

I don't wanna make a list now...but trust me...it was enaugh....

the funny thing is that I passed the day before without problems...and was friday the 17th!!! :D

now I tell you just one thing that I learned and that maybe will save you one day in Slovenia....

most of us (including a lot of slovenian) think that you can exceed the speed limits by 10kmh at maximum....

is not like that... the maximum is 5kmh...

I was driving @ 67 kmh... 7 kmh over the limit of 60.

In my head I was right.... was not the same for the policeman and his fucking autovelox.....grrrrrrrrr

150 € fee... damn....

By the way...shit happens and it happened a lot in a single day... so maybe now for a while.... :)

Let's talk about good flights...
